Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles has released a Recruitment notification 2014 for the 229 Scientist-B, Computer Programmer, Lower Division Clerk,Inspector and Other posts. Eligible candidates apply online and send hard copy of applications on or before 14-03-2014

Educational Qualification:   Master’s degree in Science or Master’sdegree in Agricultural Sciences

Age limit:   Not exceeding 35 years

Pay Scale:  Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-

2. Scientist-B (Reeling & Spinning): 02 Posts

Educational Qualification  :  Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Textile Technology

Age limit:  Not exceeding 35 Years

Pay Scale:  Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-

3. Computer Programmer: 02 Posts

Educational Qualification:   M.Sc. in Computer Science.or Graduate with II class in Computer Science with 2 years experience in Electronic Data Processing (EDP).

Age limit:   Below 30 Years

Pay Scale:  Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4600/-

4. Inspector (Silk): 04 Posts

Educational Qualification:   II Class Bachelor’s degree in Textiles or Diploma in Handloom Technology or Textiles with 3 years experience in the related field.

Age limit:   Below 30 Years

Pay Scale  :Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4200/-

5. Junior Translator (Hindi): 01 Post

Educational Qualification:   IInd Class Master’s Degree in Hindi from a recognized University with Diploma in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa.

Age limit:   Below 30 Years

Pay Scale:  Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4200/-

6.a) Senior Mechanic (Cold Storage): 01 Posts

Educational Qualification:  Diploma in Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Engineering

Age limit:   Below 30 Years

Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4200/-

b) Senior Mechanic (Electrical): 02 Posts

Educational Qualification  :Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Age limit:  Below 30 Years

Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4200/-

7. Assistant (Technical): 06 Posts

Educational Qualification:  IInd Class Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in Entomology/ Zoology / Botany / Agriculture /Sericulture

Age limit:   Below 30 Years

Pay Scale  : Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4200/-

8. Technical Assistant (Reeling & Spinning): 01 Posts

Educational Qualification:  3 year Diploma Course in Textile Technology/ Handloom Technology

Age limit:   Below 27 Years

Pay Scale:  Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4200/-

9. Assistant: 07 Posts

Educational Qualification:   IInd Class Bachelor’s degree in Science/Commerce/Arts/Bachelor of Law

Age limit:   Below 30 Years

Pay Scale:  Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4200/-

10. Statistical Assistant: 02 Posts

Educational Qualification:  II Class Master’s degree with at least 50% marks in Statistics

Age limit:   Below 30 Years

Pay Scale:  Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs.2800/-

11. Upper Division Clerk: 06 Posts

Educational Qualification:   Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Commerce/Arts from a recognized University with a pass in Junior Grade Typewriting examination conducted by State Technical Education Board with a speed of 30 words per  minute in English typewriting.

Age limit:  Below 25 Years

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2400/-

12. Junior Stenographer (Hindi): 01 Post

Educational Qualification:   Matriculation or equivalent qualification with a pass in Hindi Typewriting and Shorthand examinations conducted by the State Technical Education Board with a speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi Typewriting and 80 words per minute in Hindi Shorthand.

Age limit:   Below 25 Years

Pay Scale:  Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2400/-

13. Field Assistant: 112 Posts

Educational Qualification:  Matriculation (with Science) or Diploma in Sericulture

Age limit:   Below 25 Years

Pay Scale:  Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2400/-

14. Lower Division Clerk: 15 Posts

Educational Qualification:    Matriculation or equivalent qualification with a pass in Junior Grade Typewriting examination conducted by State Technical Education Board with a speed of 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi Typewriting.

Age limit:   Below 25 Years

Pay Scale :  Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2400/-

Selection Process:    Candidates will be selected based on performance in interview.
